Terrific Teas

What are some of the BEST teas to dink? Well, I looked up what teas are good for you so, here is a list of teas and the benefits of drinking them.

Black Tea: Black tea is one of the most highly caffeinated variations of tea, it is fully fermented and is a slightly bitter tea that comes from the Camellia sinensis plant. It can help lower cholesterol, reduce your risk of stroke, and its good for your skin!

Green Tea: Green tea is an unfermented tea that is a really good source of antioxidants, it can help prevent cancer and heart disease, and can also boost your metabolism. It is made from the Camellia sinensis leaves but doesn't undergo the same withering and oxidation process as black tea

White Tea: White tea is entirely fermented tea made from the new growth buds and leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. It's a light colored and slightly sweeter tea that has very similar health benefits as green tea

Oolong Tea: Oolong tea is similar to black tea, but is only partially fermented. Oolong tea can help; sharpen your thinking skills, help you be more alert, prevent tooth decay and osteoporosis.

Chamomile Tea: Chamomile tea is made from dried chamomile flowers. It helps calm upset stomachs and can help with sleep.

These are just a few teas to give you a general idea of what teas are good for a certain symptom. I have just recently started drinking a lot more tea and I can already feel a difference. I was sick over the weekend and so I drank a lot of tea with honey and I'm SO much better! So, I hope this was insightful to you and I would recommend drinking more tea. 😊 If you have any questions, feel free to ask me in the comment section!
Have a great week!
